No, seriously where do the summers go?? When my favorite holiday is over (July 24th) I just want to bawl! I hate sending the kids back to school... the getting up early, the homework, nag, nag, nag, nag, nag.
Although I will be the first one to admit that I should get an "F" for schoolastics in the summer. My kids probably regress 2 grade levels in the summer.
Its definately in their best interest to get back into the grindin stone.
Really I think its just the milestone that each new school year brings. Another notch closer to jr. high. high school, college. AHHHHH I want to cry just thinking about it. And why is it that the last night of summer every year you go searching for pictures of the family, vacations, hobbies, all the things that remind you how quickly time is going by. Well bring on the prozac and tears.... all I can do about it is enjoy each moment... ummmm thats easier said than done. And to top it all off... Shelbee goes to pre school this year. Is someone playing a sick joke on me?

I still love the 24th of July.... my dads birthday is on the 24th. I'm sure you know that is why we have the BIG celebration. It was crazy to see the class of '90 in the parade for their 20 year reunion.... how can that be?? I love everything about it... the stinkin carni... the parade... the rodeo.... seeing people you haven't seen for years and can't remember their name. Ahhhhh.... we are S.F. This year we went to the parade (of course), then to my Aunt and Uncles house in Springville. She bought a bonzai falls slide and the kiddos lived it up. Later that night we went to the rodeo. Good times, good times.

Well, this Christmas was very fun. The kids are at an age where they get so excited, they can't hardly stand it. Its the only night all year long when they are begging to go to bed, and are begging to get up. Dev came into our room probably 5 times, "mom, its four three one, mom, its four-four-four, mom, its five zreo zero. I finally gave in. I don't know whats better, Devin shaking opening up his presents because he is so excited, or Sydnee yelling, yes, yes, yes, this is the best day of my life, or Shelbee crying Christmas eve saying " I hate Santa, hes obnoxious". It was all a LOL for sure..... I see why our parents tell us that these are the best days of our lives! I am thankful for my sweet, healthy, beautiful kids!! PLEASE will someone stop them from growing up??? It is freaking me out.

Being a home health nurse has taught me a lot of things. One thing is that we should be thankful for good health EVERY DAY! This is one of my long time patients who died on September 21st. I have been putting this off for awhile because I have just gotten to the point that I don't cry when I think or talk about Jason. Jason was my long time patient for 5 years. Although as a nurse I know that a person with as many problems Jason had could literally die at any second, when I got the call he had passed away, I was still surprised. I am so glad that he was at home when he died instead of in the stinkin hospital (which he hated). Jason had spina bifida and was in a wheelchair for most of his life. We were always battling a pressure sore. There were times I saw him twice a day, sometimes only 3 times a week. It just depended on how bad his wounds were. Needless to say I got very attached to him. Now, I'm not gonna lie.... his house was actually scary, along with a lot of his friends. Who by the way were never anything but wonderful to me! I know when people saw him, they thought he was mean and scary. I literally had to schedule my visits so that I could come right home, get naked in the laundry room, put my clothes in the washer and hit the shower. He smoked, (more than just cigarettes), and it wasn't uncommon to have a whole bunch of people there listening to Jack Johnson and drinking who knows what.. But ya know, Jason was always so appreciative for what I did for him. He was always pleasant despite all of his problems. He tried to make things as easy for me as possible. He was so thoughtful and was just a great person. He would give anyone the shirt off his back, and believe me....he had nothing! I just want to remember how much I loved him, and what a privilege it was to get to know him like I did. I MISS YOU JAS!! XOXOXOXOX

Happy anniversary to us!! November 12th marks our 15 year anniversary!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Well, you may want to pee before you see these pictures. SO FUNNY!! So, how do 2 people, completely opposite, stay together for 15 YEARS? Heck if I know. I do know that we were WAY to young to get married, we were basically complete idiots, and I STILL completely ADORE him!! Life with Chad is never boring. One of my favorite things about him is that he constantly makes me laugh. He has some stupid comment for everything. Oh, and who wouldn't love the fact that for some ridiculous reason he thinks I hung the moon. This is so selfish, but I have to admit the fact that at the end of the day, I know he loves me.... He makes me feel good about myself, and I LOVE that! Anyway, enjoy the wedding announcement. Chad begged me not to post it....wahahaha

Man, I have been off the wagon! Lots of pics just waiting to be posted are finally in. Its so fun to re-live the last 4 monthes! Time goes by so fast, my kids are growing like weeds! It is so fun to watch them change and grow, but it also make me sad!! We had a ball at halloween. Halloween is Chaddy boys favorite holiday, he can't resist scaring the kids. He had out the crow bar and ketchup before I got home from the salem trick or treat. The kids are prepped for it so Syd and Dev brush it off and laugh, but tiny wasn't going along with the joke as planned. She purked up after diggin into grandmas chilli. After all the running around we headed down to my moms and had chilli and watched scary movies. Good times, good times.

My dad's birthday is on the 24th of July. That is why we have the parade and celebration in Spanish Fork on the 2th of July. It has nothng to do with the pioneers. It is my favorite holiday! I LOVE it all, the parade, the rodeo, the unsanitary danger of the carnival, I look forward to it every year!! This year we all went over to the Payson pool after the parade to chillax with the fam, we had a ball!

We took a little trip to St. George on Syd's birthday. Uncle Shane and Gradma Karen were going to see Halle (Shane's daughter) down in St. George, so we decided to go to. The Rebels! Sydnee's team did not loose a game all year! They won both city and STATE championship in the falcon league. The picture in the boat is at the Fiesta Days parade, (my favorite holiday!) This is her first year in this league. Honestly, all credit goes to the coach Mark Wilson and his daughter Sydney, who was their pitcher. She seriously pitched like a teenager. Hardly ever did anyone actually HIT one of her pitches. It was a lot of fun. Doubtful we will have another year like that! Syd was of course the runt of the team. She held her own taking advantage of being short, making it hard for the pitcher to get a strike in the strike zone, squatting down, HILARIOUS! She played 2nd base most of the time. We had a BALL watching her!

My little athlete, he hits homers, yes in t-ball, it is so fun to watch him. We laugh our heads off at Dev's ball games because he is an ALL STAR! I am back and forth from Benji to Spanish all May and June, but LOVE it!!

So fun to get together!! Patty has stayed her same gorgeous self inside and out of course! She now has her new baby here and she is BEAUTIFUL!! Patty is loving every minute of it! The funniest part was that for a good 15 minutes Amy didn't even realize she was sitting next to Renerah, so funny!

Sydnee got Miley concert tickets for her birthday. I have found a secret about concerts. After you buy your tickets on line, the day of the concert you can go down to the ticket office and upgrade your tickets. This last time it didn't cost me anymore money, and we upgraded to the front row! We were literally right behind Miley's grandma and sister. Syd had a ball of course! Miley got sick a bolted off stage during the 3rd song. I guess she was sick. Wouldn't it suck to not be able to call in sick when you are sick?? She came back out though and did a great job. My only complaint is that she was dressed like a tramp!

If she looks a little nervous, she is! She hates having her picture taken. I still think she is precious! She is my baby, and of course, spoiled rotten! She is my side kick and a rarely go anywhere with out her. By some genetic mix up, she got this long, blonde, curly hair, and bright blue eyes. She says words like norvos (nervous), larius (hilarious), and acully (actually). She is constantly in a dream world, talking to herself, playing with trucks or babies, she is very versitle! We love having her in our family. She will answer lots of nicknames, usually tiny. She is a daddys girl and loves to go help out on the funny farm. She loves outside. I LOVE YOU SHEL SHEL!!

This is my tiger! When he was little, I thought I would never survive! He was so full of IT, I could hardly keep up! Wardrobe crisis daily, constantly changing his clothes, picky, picky eater and a rough neck! Now, 90% of the time he is so EASY! Other than I have to ride him daily to keep his room clean, which is never clean and drives me nuts! He plays with Shelbee so cute, he looks after his little sis. He is soooooooo patriotic, he gets all teared up about war, soldiers, and flags! He seriously chokes back the tears when he hears "I'm proud to be an American". This kid has wheels. He is good at every sport. He catches pop flies at his t-ball games, hits home runs, there is fire under his shoes when he runs. It is hysterical to watch. Parents are constantly coming up to us and telling us how good he is. He is also really good at wrestling which is coming up soon. He is all business about it, and takes no prisoners. But, his FAVORITE is football, Chad is constantly playing catch with him. He has Tony Romo paraphernalia all over his room, and knows all about football. He is still too little to play even flag football. There are accelerated leagues which are tackle, but his nervous nurse of a mother can't have that yet. I am too afraid of a head or neck injury. Sorry Dev. He is doing so good in school, I laugh my head off because I have not worked with him hardly at all. I know I am terrible. He is reading on an "I" level, which is awesome for a first grader! GOOD JOB BUDDY!! I love you!

How lucky am I??? I can not believe I have a 9 year old! Sydnee is so much fun to have around. She is our entertainer. Don't be suprised if you see her in Hollywood, she is a top notch DRAMA QUEEN! She is hilarious, and keeps us laughing all the time. She can put on a concert in that room of hers that I should be charging tickets for. Hannah, miley, taylor, she knows every word to every song. I also love that she has a tender little heart and is soooooo cute with Shelbee. She feels bad if someone gets there feelings hurt, and is so considerate of others. I also LOVE that she will stick up for herself. When we went to the dentist this summer, she told the dentist she would punch him if her hurt her, I was flabbergasted, but kind of liked it! I was so shocked, I was at a loss for words (ya me)! I LOVE YOU SYDNEE!!! Thanks for being such a good kid!

How sad!! My baby is THREE!! I can't believe its been three years since we brought this little dolly home. She has been so fun and so easy, and holds her own with her brother and sister. Believe me she knows lots of "bad words". That 4 year "break" between her and Devin has turned out so far to be awesome! Both Syd and Dev are so cute with Shelbee (most of the time). They think she is so funny, Dev loves to help her get dressed in the morning, which I of course love!! She is a mammas girl, and loves to go with me everywhere. In fact, she is sitting by me while I blog right now talking to herself. She is hilarious and makes me laugh everyday!! She would not hear of going to nursery instead of our primary class. I love being her favorite! I know it won't last forever, so I am loving it. For weeks before her birthday she was telling me she wanted a jeep for her birthday,I pulled different ones up on KSL to show her and she was very particular about which ones she wanted. One looked sort of like one Devin has that looks like a 4 wheeler and she said "no, I dot one of dose, I want a jeep" But after all her presents I asked her which present she liked the best and she said "the cake". I am so lucky to be her mommy. I LOVE YOU SHELBEE!!

Congratulations Zach and Jenny! (Jenny is Chad's baby sister). Ty is such a cutie, and a tough little bugger! This baby and Jenny went through HELL to get here! Thank goodness for Dr. Judd the angel of mercy who came in and saved the day even when he wasn't on call to save Jenny from a c-section after being dialated to a ten for 6 hrs!! He had this baby out in 6 yes SIX minutes after a long hard night! Good job Jenny, I can't quit crying about how tough you are, and how I wish it were me having a baby! Its such a fun and happy time. Especially when you have Judd for a dr. and have babies as easy as me! I'm really sad we are done but I know we'll spoil little Ty to death!!
