Miley Cyrus, Syds hero!
Sydnee got Miley concert tickets for her birthday. I have found a secret about concerts. After you buy your tickets on line, the day of the concert you can go down to the ticket office and upgrade your tickets. This last time it didn't cost me anymore money, and we upgraded to the front row! We were literally right behind Miley's grandma and sister. Syd had a ball of course! Miley got sick a bolted off stage during the 3rd song. I guess she was sick. Wouldn't it suck to not be able to call in sick when you are sick?? She came back out though and did a great job. My only complaint is that she was dressed like a tramp!
Shelbee
If she looks a little nervous, she is! She hates having her picture taken. I still think she is precious! She is my baby, and of course, spoiled rotten! She is my side kick and a rarely go anywhere with out her. By some genetic mix up, she got this long, blonde, curly hair, and bright blue eyes. She says words like norvos (nervous), larius (hilarious), and acully (actually). She is constantly in a dream world, talking to herself, playing with trucks or babies, she is very versitle! We love having her in our family. She will answer lots of nicknames, usually tiny. She is a daddys girl and loves to go help out on the funny farm. She loves outside. I LOVE YOU SHEL SHEL!!
Devin is 7!
This is my tiger! When he was little, I thought I would never survive! He was so full of IT, I could hardly keep up! Wardrobe crisis daily, constantly changing his clothes, picky, picky eater and a rough neck! Now, 90% of the time he is so EASY! Other than I have to ride him daily to keep his room clean, which is never clean and drives me nuts! He plays with Shelbee so cute, he looks after his little sis. He is soooooooo patriotic, he gets all teared up about war, soldiers, and flags! He seriously chokes back the tears when he hears "I'm proud to be an American". This kid has wheels. He is good at every sport. He catches pop flies at his t-ball games, hits home runs, there is fire under his shoes when he runs. It is hysterical to watch. Parents are constantly coming up to us and telling us how good he is. He is also really good at wrestling which is coming up soon. He is all business about it, and takes no prisoners. But, his FAVORITE is football, Chad is constantly playing catch with him. He has Tony Romo paraphernalia all over his room, and knows all about football. He is still too little to play even flag football. There are accelerated leagues which are tackle, but his nervous nurse of a mother can't have that yet. I am too afraid of a head or neck injury. Sorry Dev. He is doing so good in school, I laugh my head off because I have not worked with him hardly at all. I know I am terrible. He is reading on an "I" level, which is awesome for a first grader! GOOD JOB BUDDY!! I love you!
A summer full of birthdays!
How lucky am I??? I can not believe I have a 9 year old! Sydnee is so much fun to have around. She is our entertainer. Don't be suprised if you see her in Hollywood, she is a top notch DRAMA QUEEN! She is hilarious, and keeps us laughing all the time. She can put on a concert in that room of hers that I should be charging tickets for. Hannah, miley, taylor, she knows every word to every song. I also love that she has a tender little heart and is soooooo cute with Shelbee. She feels bad if someone gets there feelings hurt, and is so considerate of others. I also LOVE that she will stick up for herself. When we went to the dentist this summer, she told the dentist she would punch him if her hurt her, I was flabbergasted, but kind of liked it! I was so shocked, I was at a loss for words (ya me)! I LOVE YOU SYDNEE!!! Thanks for being such a good kid!

Ew...... if do say so myself, they are sooooooooo yummy! Shelbee hates having her picture taken. This is about as good as it gets with her,but I'm not complaining, still adorable! My AWESOME friend and neighbor Leslie took these pictures just before school started. THANKS AGAIN LESLIE!!

My Baby is 3!!
How sad!! My baby is THREE!! I can't believe its been three years since we brought this little dolly home. She has been so fun and so easy, and holds her own with her brother and sister. Believe me she knows lots of "bad words". That 4 year "break" between her and Devin has turned out so far to be awesome! Both Syd and Dev are so cute with Shelbee (most of the time). They think she is so funny, Dev loves to help her get dressed in the morning, which I of course love!! She is a mammas girl, and loves to go with me everywhere. In fact, she is sitting by me while I blog right now talking to herself. She is hilarious and makes me laugh everyday!! She would not hear of going to nursery instead of our primary class. I love being her favorite! I know it won't last forever, so I am loving it. For weeks before her birthday she was telling me she wanted a jeep for her birthday,I pulled different ones up on KSL to show her and she was very particular about which ones she wanted. One looked sort of like one Devin has that looks like a 4 wheeler and she said "no, I dot one of dose, I want a jeep" But after all her presents I asked her which present she liked the best and she said "the cake". I am so lucky to be her mommy. I LOVE YOU SHELBEE!!

Syd really loves to be in a production. She did such a good job, way to go Syd! I have to admit I was HATING the 3 hour production! Can't I just go and watch the dances I want to?? LOL!

7lbs 15 oz, 21 in May 31st, 2000 at 9:47 am
Congratulations Zach and Jenny! (Jenny is Chad's baby sister). Ty is such a cutie, and a tough little bugger! This baby and Jenny went through HELL to get here! Thank goodness for Dr. Judd the angel of mercy who came in and saved the day even when he wasn't on call to save Jenny from a c-section after being dialated to a ten for 6 hrs!! He had this baby out in 6 yes SIX minutes after a long hard night! Good job Jenny, I can't quit crying about how tough you are, and how I wish it were me having a baby! Its such a fun and happy time. Especially when you have Judd for a dr. and have babies as easy as me! I'm really sad we are done but I know we'll spoil little Ty to death!!
Jenny's baby Shower
Michelle(Chads sister) , Karen(Chads mom) and I had a baby Shower for Jenny ( Chads other sister) on the same day, as I got to go with the 3rd graders on their field trip. I managed to squeeze in 3 patiens that day some how. Chad of course saved my bacon again. I love how he just steps in and does things when he can see I am scrambling. Shelbee was having a melt down and wanted only me to get her dressed and her hair done. I still needed to cut up fruit and put the chicken salad sandwich mix in the cressants. So, after I got Shelbee ready and sort of myself I hurried down to the kitchen to attempt to finish, the shower was supposed to start in 30 minutes. Old Chaddy boy had cut up all my fruit, put in on a tray and filled all my sandwiches. I LOVE YA BABE! He is always picking up my slack. He is a get er done kind of guy and that is one of my favorite things about him.
He's got wheels
This kid is so funny! He is good at every sport I swear! He has got some serious wheels. Chad and I are always laughing at the way he moves around the bases and can't resist a slide into the base where ever he stops! A few games ago he caught a pop fly that was way up there at this t-ball game, and he hit 2 home runs! It is hilarious to watch. He is all business during the game. I'm thinkin he didn't get my genetic defect, and takes after his dad and grandpa Blain!!
Mrs. Lacrua
I just have to make a little note about Syd's teacher this past year because she is over the top, awesome!! Syd bawled and bawled on the last day of school because she didn't want to leave Mrs. Lacrua. Can you say you ever felt like that about a teacher?? I know I can't! I went on their field trip with them to the Clark Planetarium and the State Capital builing. The kids were REALLY good, but these teachers DO NOT get paid enough!! Mrs. Lacrua is always smiling, happy and so loving with those kids. I really think she actually enjoys her job! I've watched the kids always hanging on her & hugging her and she never quits smiling. I absolutely love the way she interacts with these kids. Besides the fact she is an awesome teacher. Syd learned so much this year and really tried hard all because of her! THANKS MRS. LACRUA!! We hope and PRAY that our other kids get to have you for a teacher!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!

Erika and Sydnee with the lambies
I love this picture of the girls with their lambies! They had so much fun with the lambs and both of them bawled when it was sale time! Syds got bought back from a sheep farmer to multiply and replenish!! So, my jokes about eating it for dinner were in vein. All the kids LOVE the stock show thing. I'm not sure if its because they miss school and run wild with their friends, or if its the animals. But, what ever, they had a great time!!
